The patriarch of the current owner family arrived on this island in the 1960s, during a visit dedicated to the discovery of the most remote and authentic place on the island, accompanied by his future wife, to whom he dedicated the name of the property.
At the time, Villa Gina looked like a simple rural house nested in a dense Mediterranean scrub, dominated by the scents of the sea that enveloped the Path of the Forts, leading to the crystal clear waters of the natural Pools of Mesola and the legendary Cala del Rio.The amenity of the place, combined with the magic of a sunset that repeats itself every day – similar but never identical to the previous one – helped to create a spell that is renewed today.
In the 1970s the central body of the house was renovated, shaping the layout of the current villa, which has since been the ideal refuge for the family, keeping alive the original spirit and atmosphere conceived by its far-sighted founder.
Today, Villa Gina is an oasis of peace, surrounded a rare silence and embellished by a breathtaking view, far from prying eyes. Now in its second generation, the villa retains its charm and we want it to continue to transmit its magic to visitors: a place where tourists can fully immerse themselves in nature, scents, sounds and that elegant, refined and exclusive atmosphere that represents the true essence of Capri’s Dolce Vita.

Just a seven-minute walk away is the Sentiero dei Fortini, a scenic trail that links ancient defensive positions along the west coast. A little further on, you can reach the Natural Pools of Mesola and the beach of Gradola, loved by locals for its clear water and peaceful surroundings.
The centre of Anacapri is just a few minutes away by car or a pleasant walk: here you will find restaurants, shops, churches and small museums that tell you about the true soul of the island.
